National Service Scheme of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University celebrated the women’s day on 8.3.14. Dr.K.Ramasamy, Vice Chancellor, TNAU presided over the function and reiterated the importance given to women in society from the older days. Felicitations were offered by Dr.S.Mahimairaja, Dean (Agriculture). He remembered his inspirations obtained from Madam Curie, Mother Teresa and a Newzealand mother who was instrumental in bringing a law enforced to cyclists wearing helmet.Dr.C.Divakerdurairaj , Dean (Engineering ) called upon young women to preserve traditional values of our society and perform to their fullest potential in education and transform it to reality.
