A seminar on
“Save our motherland” was organized by Anticorruption movement, Coimbatore
chapter at TNAU Convocation hall on 13.9.2014. Five hundred NSS and NCC
volunteers from TNAU and various colleges of Coimbatore participated in the
programme. The programme started with a prayer song by TNAU NSS volunteers.
Mr.K.Ramalingam, Commisioner of income tax, Coimbatore, alumnus of TNAU in his special address called upon the
volunteers to come to government service to make zero corruption nation. He
said that strong will, hard work, perseverance and self discipline are the
traits needed for success in life.

Devaram, former DGP, Tamilnadu in his presidential address said that if
government officials are honest, then corruption can be eliminated.15 honest
officials from various departments were felicitated in the function.
